


Something that I have noted throughout the series, however is that the injuries, torture, abuse, what have you doesn't seem to hold a consistent pattern. It didn't really help my understanding of the series. Still, it was more in sync with the other novels, being "The Merciless," and "The Merciless II: The Exorcism of Sofia Flores." If I would have known, I would have skipped the third altogether. Wow, so this was better than the third one by a lot, but was still a bit of a hot mess.
